English Language Arts
In English Language Arts (ELA) students learn to become effective readers and writers. Teachers use a balance of complex fiction and non-fiction texts in the classroom and teach reading, writing, vocabulary and discussion with an emphasis on using details and evidence from the text.
QN Facilitators: Gina Ceparano, Paula Stein, and Rahjia Vandiver
This webinar will support your synchronous English Language Arts instruction by highlighting two high-leverage practices: Small Group Strategy Lessons and Conferences. Participants will observe lesson demonstrations, for both practices, and reflect on the alignment between the pedagogical practices and the guidelines of CR-SE.
